I call this one Silken Intoxicating Honey Mask.

You can use it as a cleanser and a facial mask.

It’s moisturising, hydrating, tightening, and anti-inflammatory, so It benefits both acne prone skin and dry skin. It's a beautiful union of raw honey, clays, and pure plant oils that quickly calms and balance the skin and stimulates circulation.

It gently cleanses, restores hydration, and infuses active enzymes and nourishment, leaving the skin glowing and fresh.

It's lush, velvety, and intensely working. Oh, and that mesmerising smell!

For cleansing: Apply 1 tsp dollop to wet skin to massage into silky cleansing milk. Then rinse.

As a facial mask: Apply about 1 tbsp over clean, dry skin. Leave to work from a few minutes up to an hour before rinsing. Clear as you massage with your fingertips or a facecloth.

About the ingredients

French Green Clay:

French green clay typically originates from France. It is also called illite.

Off the southern coast of France, you can find large deposits of this very mineral-rich clay. The clay has its green color from a combination of iron oxides and decomposed matter — typically algae or chlorophyll.

The more vibrant green the clay is, the more valuable it’s considered to be.

In addition to the components that give the clay its green color, it contains lots of other minerals such as magnesium, calcium, potassium, manganese, phosphorus, aluminum, silicon, zinc, cobalt, copper, selenium.

It is believed that French green clay has a naturally negative electrical charge that will attach to positively charged toxins on your skin, in the bloodstream, or the intestine (negativ charge is positive).

Skin benefits of French Green Clay:

  • Cleanses and draws out impurities from pores.

  • Exfoliating dead skin cells

  • Toning and firming

  • Stimulates circulation

  • Help treat blemishes.

  • Ease stressed skin.

  • Soothes minor wounds, burns, cuts, insect bites, and sore muscles.

  • Suitable for sensitive skin.

Kaolin Clay:

Kaolin clay is one of the gentlest clays. This light, white clay cleanses and removes impurities without irritating. It gently exfoliates and stimulates your skin and helps remove the excess sebum that can cause acne.

Kaolin contains a high silica content that helps remove the dead skin and make it regenerate. This also purifies and detoxes the skin and makes it moist. It has unique minerals and phytonutrients present, which helps eliminate toxin and oil from the skin.

Jojoba oil

  • Jojoba reduces skin inflammation, moisturises, soothes and fights acne. This oil has a calming effect and helps fight acne and reduce inflammation in the skin.

  • Sebaceous glands are microscopic glands in the skin that secrete a waxy and oily substance called sebum. The sebum in the skin is very similar to that in jojoba oil.

  • Jojoba oil both adds moisture and reduces the overproduction of sebum. Jojoba oil is, therefore, great for both dry and acne-prone skin.

  • Jojoba is rich in B-vitamins and supports speedy wound healing; it has an antibacterial and anti-fungal effect.

  • With age, our sebaceous glands produce less sebum, and the skin becomes drier.

Cocoa: antioxidant and mineral-rich, increases blood circulation, anti-inflammatory.

Raw honey is humectant, antioxidant, promotes healing, help your complexion become supple and glowing.

Witch hazel is a potent astringent, lock moisture into skin, tightens.

Patchouli moisturises and has healing, and anti anti-wrinkle properties for the skin. It’s know for its calming and aphrodisiacal effect.
