Green Hawaii Juice-Smoothie

And it tastes just as good as it looks! I call it Green Hawaii - because... you know... everything with a pineapple has to be named "Hawaii."
I make smoothies and vegetable juices every day - almost: occasionally, I skip if I'm not home or don't have time or fancy something different. But for the most part, I throw a smoothie and a veggie juice down the food pipe daily. And it makes me feel so good.
They give me a lot of energy and improve my mood. I feel stronger physically and mentally. I seldom have sugar cravings or other unhealthy desires during the day - seriously - they seem to vanish.
To keep up my enthusiasm and motivation for juicing, I alternate the ingredients a little every day.
This particular juice is more smoothie-like in texture. It's produced in the blender, so there's no juicer machine necessary.
Serves two
PROPS:
Sharp knife
INGREDIENTS:
0.5 inch pineapple
4 cubes frozen spinach
1/4 cucumber
1 lemon
1 apple
1/2 -1 dl almond milk or cashew milk
1/2 cup kombucha or coconut water (optional)
I also add:
1-2 scoop collagen powder, 1 tsp. cod liver oil, 1 tsp. chlorella powder, and 1 capsule magnesium citrate (I split it and use the ingredient only).
DIRECTIONS:
Cut the rind off the pineapple and remove the inner core
Rinse the cucumber and cut it into slightly smaller pieces.
Peel the lemon, divide it in half, remove the middle string and the seeds.
Rinse the apple and remove the core and stem.
Pop all the ingredients into a blender.
Blend on low setting for 10-15 seconds and then turn up on full for half a minute.
Enjoy it immediately!
